Job summary

Simpson Millar LLP Solicitors, based in Lancashire, seeks a proactive Paralegal to support a team of Solicitors in the personal injury department handling multi-track Road Traffic Accident (RTA) claims.

You will draft letters of claim, witness statements, schedules of loss, respond to claimant enquiries, prepare instructions to Counsel, and assist with trial bundles while conducting legal research and keeping clients updated.

Qualifications

• LB Law degree or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience supporting RTA or Personal Injury cases.
• Strong client care and organisation skills.

Responsibilities

• Drafting letters of claim, witness statements, particulars of loss and schedules of loss.
• Responding to claimant enquiries.
• Assist in preparing instructions to Counsel.
• Preparation of trial bundles.
• Reviewing expert reports and drafting client updates.
• Attending client meetings.
• Assist with new client enquiries.
• Conducting legal research.
