RTA Litigation Executive

A highly regarded, forward-thinking law firm based in Liverpool is seeking an experienced RTA Litigation Executive or Paralegal to join their expanding team. Job Title: RTA Litigation Executive / Paralegal

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £30,000 - £38,000

Duties:

1. Manage a high volume caseload of Fast Track Personal Injury RTA claims using the firm's Case Management Systems.
2. Provide professional, timely, and relevant legal advice to clients, maintaining regular contact and managing expectations.
3. Handle cases with denial of liability and causation arguments independently.
4. Assess liability and quantum, review medical reports, research case law, draft schedules of special damages, and determine suitable compensation awards.
5. Identify cases for tactical litigation and proceed expeditiously.
6. Approach settlements with a practical and commercial mindset, advising clients on litigation and cost risks.

Experience and Knowledge Required:

1. Substantial experience managing a caseload of Fast Track RTA litigated claims.
2. Strong drafting skills and the ability to negotiate appropriate settlements.
3. Solid working knowledge of the CPR, legislation, and relevant case law.
