Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking motivated NDT Technicians to join our inspection team. You will deploy UT, MPI, DPI, EC and other NDT methods across offshore and onshore sites, ensuring high safety and quality standards.

IRATA Level 1 rope access is required, with potential international travel and mentoring of junior technicians. Expect to work across oil, gas, and energy sectors, with diverse project scopes and reporting duties.

Qualifications

• Valid certifications in UT, MPI, DPI & EC, minimum UT 3.1/3.2.
• IRATA Rope Access Level 1 (minimum).
• Strong understanding of conventional NDT methods.
• Willingness to travel offshore and internationally.
• Good communication, reporting and teamwork skills.
• Right to work in the UK.
• PCN or CSWIP certification.
• Prior offshore inspection experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional NDT inspections.
• Interpret and evaluate test results per codes and procedures.
• Ensure safe rope access operations (IRATA 1 minimum).
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.
• Comply with site safety and quality standards.
• Support training and mentoring of junior technicians when applicable.
• Travel to onshore, offshore, and international locations as required.

Bilfinger UK are seeking motivated and skilled individuals to join our growing inspection team as NDT Technicians.

The role involves the deployment of non-destructive testing techniques including UT, MPI, DPI & EC and more, in both offshore and onshore settings.

A minimumIRATA Level 1 Rope Access certification is required due to the nature of access for certain inspection scopes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform conventional NDT inspections.

• Ensure safe and effective rope access operations (IRATA Level 1 minimum).
• Prepare and submit detailed inspection reports.
• Comply with site-specific safety and quality standards.
