- £25.11 an hour
- Full time, 8:00-16:00pm
MAIN OBJECTIVES OF THE POST
- Carrying out bricklaying work identified on job ticket, to an agreed standard, ensuring any associated work is completed or reported back to manager.
- To undertake the basic duties and responsibilities of the post within a framework, which upholds and furthers our Equal Opportunities Policies and delivers effective and appropriate services fairly and without discrimination.
- Ordering required materials etc. to complete the job to the required timescale.
- Erect, use and dismantle access equipment i.e. Ladders, steps, platforms.
- Prepared to provide an emergency out of hours service on a rota basis (where required).
- Record and document all work activities and submit information to required timescales.
- To be responsible for personal Health and Safety and for those affected by your actions or omissions.
- Follow Health and Safety instructions given by a Co-ordinator. Actively make use of risk assessments system.
- To be responsible for undertaking weekly vehicle checks and reporting defects to the Co-ordinator.
- Any other duties as deemed necessary by Senior staff.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Ability to build good relations with Client Officers and customers.
- To be able to deal with customers in a professional, friendly and considerate manner.
- Ability to manage personal workload and cope with a variety of tasks.
- Must be able to use initiative to assess situations and decide on appropriate action.
- Must have a responsible attitude and show genuine concern for all works carried out.
- Ability to work to a high standard of quality and efficiency motivated by performance related payment scheme.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Hold an NVQ level 3, relevant City and Guilds certificate or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years experience is essential.
- Hold a full clean driving licence.
