Qualifications

• Proven experience as an ILE RPG Developer with a strong understanding of the RPG programming language.
• Experience working on ERP systems, preferably in a bespoke or customized environment.

Responsibilities

• Customize ERP to meet business needs.
• Ensure data integrity and performance using SQL.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Working hours: 8 Hours per day, hybrid with UK and Sri Lanka hours.
• Working method: Hybrid(Mostly home with few days in office)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and understand system functionalities needed to support various departments.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain ILE RPG (Integrated Language Environment RPG) programs and modules within the ERP system.
• Customize and configure the ERP system to meet specific business process needs, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and databases.
• Work closely with the database team to ensure data integrity, optimal performance, and efficient data retrieval using SQL.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, debugging and resolving problems that arise in the production environment.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with end-users to gather feedback and incorporate user experience improvements into the system.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in ERP and ILE RPG development.

Skills

• Proficiency in SQL for database manipulation and integration.
• Familiarity with modern development methodologies, version control systems, and software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
