The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project, a joint venture of Aecon and Framatome, is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, enabling safe operation of CANDU units until 2064. The project involves removing and replacing steam generators at Units 3 and 4, with long-term agreements for remaining units.
Reporting to the EHS & HU Director, the Radiation Protection (RP) Program Lead will oversee radiation protection and ALARA services, working with Shoreline, SGRT, and Bruce Power Physicists to develop safety guidelines during all project phases. They will supervise health physicists and ALARA coordinators to ensure timely completion of tasks supporting station work.
