Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Delivery Operative to work in Derby (DE1). No prior experience required, but a UK manual driving license is essential. Company First Call Contract Services supports the recruitment process.

Shifts are flexible between 7am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday. Pay starts at £13.69 per hour with weekly pay. You will sort, check vehicles, drive or walk routes, and deliver letters and parcels to homes and businesses.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving license required.
• Be physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Willing to work flexible hours incl. early mornings & evenings.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to work for Royal Mail as a Royal Mail Delivery Operative with pay rates from £13.69 per hour. The role of Royal Mail Delivery Operative is based in Derby (DE1)

You don't need any experience, but you do require a Full UK Manual Driving License; we offer full support for you to succeed in your role! Pay for Royal Mail Delivery Operative :

• £13.69 per hour
• Paid weekly

Main Duties of Royal Mail Delivery Operative :

• Sortation of round prior to departure
• Vehicle checks
• Driving manual vehicle to delivery locations or working on foot
• Delivering letters and small parcels to home and business addresses

About You:

• You must hold a valid UK manual Driving License
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN, DD, DR)
• Happy to drive a company issued vehicle or work on foot
• Be physically fit
• Happy to work outside in all weather conditions

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to complete the Royal Mail Vetting Process which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
