Job summary

Royal Mail is hiring a Delivery Operative to work in Derby (DE1). No prior experience required, but a UK manual driving license is essential. Company First Call Contract Services supports the recruitment process.

Shifts are flexible between 7am and 9pm, Monday to Sunday. Pay starts at £13.69 per hour with weekly pay. You will sort, check vehicles, drive or walk routes, and deliver letters and parcels to homes and businesses.

Qualifications

• Valid UK manual driving license required.
• Be physically fit and able to work outdoors.
• Willing to work flexible hours incl. early mornings & evenings.

Responsibilities

• Sortation of round prior to departure.
• Vehicle checks and routine maintenance checks.
• Drive manual vehicle to delivery locations or deliver on foot.
• Deliver letters and small parcels to home and business addresses.
