Job summary

First Call Contract Services Limited is hiring Royal Mail Delivery Operatives in Ashford (Kent). The role offers pay from £13.69 per hour with flexible hours across 7am–9pm, Monday to Sunday.

No prior experience required, but a valid UK manual driving license is essential and you will undergo Royal Mail vetting including a DBS check paid by you. You'll sort mail, perform vehicle checks, drive company vehicles or walk routes, and deliver letters and small parcels to homes and businesses.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid UK manual driving license.
• No more than 6 points (no IN, DD, DR).
• Willing to drive company vehicle or work on foot.
• Physically fit.
• Willing to work outside in all weather conditions.

We have an exciting opportunity for the right candidates to work for Royal Mail as a Royal Mail Delivery Operative with pay rates from £13.69 per hour. The role of Royal Mail Delivery Operative is based in Ashford (Kent)

You don’t need any experience, but you do require a Full UK Manual Driving License; we offer full support for you to succeed in your role! Main Duties of Royal Mail Delivery Operative :

• Sortation of round prior to departure
• Vehicle checks
• Driving manual vehicle to delivery locations or working on foot
• Delivering letters and small parcels to home and business addresses

About You:

• You must hold a valid UK manual Driving License
• No more than 6 points for minor offences (No IN, DD, DR)
• Happy to drive a company issued vehicle or work on foot
• Be physically fit
• Happy to work outside in all weather conditions

PLEASE NOTE: You will be required to complete the Royal Mail Vetting Process which includes a basic DBS check paid for by you.
