Job summary

Angard Recruitment is seeking flexible (temporary) Collections Drivers for Royal Mail in your local area. You will collect mail and parcels, ensuring secure handling, with shifts that include day, dawn, early, evening, late and night hours.

Role combines walking and driving, with opportunities for permanent status. Pay rates vary by shift: day £16.24, dawn £17.16, early £17.16, evening £16.93, late £17.70, night £19.00 per hour.

• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Important to Know

While some roles involve driving, this role also requires you to be on foot, collecting letters and parcels directly within the community. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the day.

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for roles within our Delivery Offices. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.

Shift – Shift Description = Pay Rate

• Day Shift - Starts and finishes between 05:31 - 19:59 = £16.24 per hour
• Dawn Shift - Starts between 02:01 - 04:00 = £17.16 per hour
• Early 0500 - Starts between 04:01 - 05:00 = £17.16 per hour
• Early 0530 - Starts between 05:01 - 05:30 = £17.16 per hour
• Evening Shift - Finishes between 20:00 - 21:39 - £16.93 per hour
• Lates Shift - Finishes between 21:40 - 01:59 - £17.70 per hour
• Night Shift - Three hours worked across 23:00 - 05:00 - £19.00 per hour

While this is a temporary role, there may be potential for it to become permanent.
