Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting Royal Mail delivery driver roles in the Pontyclun area. This flexible, temporary position involves driving a Royal Mail van across your round and delivering letters and parcels in your community.

A full, manual UK driving licence with up to 6 points is required, along with physical fitness to walk and lift up to 16kg. Shifts vary; accurate pay rates apply and training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• As a Post Person with Driving, you'll deliver letters and parcels in your community and drive round your delivery area.
• You will securely deliver all items on your route and handle items per Royal Mail standards.
• You may deliver election materials and certain restricted items in line with policy.

What We’re Looking For

Your Role

As a Post Person with Driving, you'll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring letters and parcels are delivered come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service and ensuring every item reaches its destination safely.

You're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.

Important to Know

While large parts of the role involves walking, driving a Royal Mail delivery van is also a key requirement. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the day. Please note: you'll be required to pass a driving assessment when you start.

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for roles within our Delivery Offices. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
