Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd is hiring flexible (temporary) Royal Mail delivery drivers in Penarth, United Kingdom. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels in your community, combining driving and walking and providing friendly service.

What We’re Looking For

Driving Licence: Full, manual UK driving licence with no more than 6 points - you'll be driving a Royal Mail van as part of your round.
Physical Fitness: Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day, get in and out of your van regularly, and carry a mailbag weighing up to 16kg.
Flexibility: Shifts can vary, so we need team players who can adapt at short notice.

Your Role

As a Post Person with Driving, you'll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring letters and parcels are delivered come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service and ensuring every item reaches its destination safely.

You're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.

Important to Know

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
