Job summary

Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd in Inverness is recruiting for Royal Mail delivery driver roles. As a Post Person with Driving, you will deliver letters and parcels across your local area, combining van driving with on-foot delivery, and you will represent Royal Mail in your community.

Shifts vary and pay is detailed per shift; this is a flexible, temporary position designed to fit around your lifestyle, with training and a chance to join a trusted postal network.

Responsibilities

• Handle and deliver election materials and certain items (food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.

What We’re Looking For

Your Role

As a Post Person with Driving, you’ll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring letters and parcels are delivered come rain or shine. You’ll drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service and ensuring every item reaches its destination safely.

You’re expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.

Important to Know

While large parts of the role involves walking, driving a Royal Mail delivery van is also a key requirement. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the day. Please note: you’ll be required to pass a driving assessment when you start.
