Job summary

Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) postal delivery drivers. You will be the face of Royal Mail in your community, delivering letters and parcels by van and on foot across your route. Expect walking up to 20,000 steps per day, lifting 16 kg mailbags, and varying shifts.

A driving assessment is required on start. Pay rates vary by shift, with day, dawn, early, evening, late, and night slots available; full rate card provided on application.

What We’re Looking For

Your Role

As a Post Person with Driving, you'll be the face of Royal Mail in your community, ensuring letters and parcels are delivered come rain or shine. You'll drive round your delivery area, completing parts of your route on foot, providing exceptional service and ensuring every item reaches its destination safely.

You're expected to securely deliver all items on your route, including handling and delivering election materials and certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail business standards.

Important to Know

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for roles within our Delivery Offices. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
