Angard Staffing Solutions is recruiting for Royal Mail Collections Driver roles in Aberdeen. You will collect mail and parcels in the community, walking and driving as required, and act as the friendly face of Royal Mail while keeping items secure.

Shifts vary; guaranteed hours from 20 per week, from 2 November to 24 December. Pay rates range from £16.24 per hour (Day) to £19.00 per hour (Night), depending on shift.

• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg.

Your Role

As a Collections Driver, you’ll be the friendly face of Royal Mail in your local area. You’ll collect mail and parcels from designated locations, ensuring timely and secure handling of all items. Whether on foot or behind the wheel, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the country connected.

Important to Know

While some roles involve driving,

this role also requires you to be on foot, collecting letters and parcels directly within the community. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the day.

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for roles within our Delivery Offices. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.

Guaranteed Hours:

From 2nd November to 24th December - guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week

(Full rate card with all shift breakdowns will be received on application)

Shift - Shift Description = Pay Rate

Day Shift - Starts and finishes between 05:31 - 19:59 =

£16.24 per hour

Dawn Shift - Starts between 02:01 - 04:00 =

£17.16 per hour

Early 0500 - Starts between 04:01 - 05:00 =

£17.16 per hour

Early 0530 - Starts between 05:01 - 05:30 =

£17.16 per hour

Evening Shift - Finishes between 20:00 - 21:39 =

£16.93 per hour

Lates Shift - Finishes between 21:40 - 01:59 =

£17.70 per hour

Night Shift - Three hours worked across 23:00 - 05:00 =

£19.00 per hour

While this is a temporary role, there may be potential for it to become permanent.
