Royal Mail is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join as flexible (temporary) Collections Driver in your local area. You will collect mail and parcels, on foot or by vehicle, ensuring timely and secure handling while representing Royal Mail in the community.

This role combines active outdoor work with customer service, offering shift variety and competitive pay rates. A driving license and physical fitness are required, with adaptability for short-notice changes in shifts.

• Full, manual driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Be prepared to walk 20,000 steps a day and carry a bag weighing up to 16kg.
• Shifts can vary; you must adapt at short notice.

Your Role

As a Collections Driver, you’ll be the friendly face of Royal Mail in your local area. You’ll collect mail and parcels from designated locations, ensuring timely and secure handling of all items. Whether on foot or behind the wheel, you’ll play a vital role in keeping the country connected.

Important to Know

While some roles involve driving, this role also requires you to be on foot, collecting letters and parcels directly within the community. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy being outdoors and staying active throughout the day.

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the pay rates applicable for roles within our Delivery Offices. The rates displayed are payable for the entirety of your shift where the shift description criteria is met.

Rates could be subject to change during busy periods, Angard staffing will communicate any change to your pay rates in advance.
