Job Description:

The role operates across Royal Canin units and functions, partnering with product teams, business partners, functional leaders, and Unit leadership teams to deliver DT projects. It brings in external/best practice insights & trends from vendors, analysts, and peer companies to influence and drive business transformation at scale. It will contribute to building and enforcing the image of the delivery team as the project/program management backbone of Royal Canin.

What are we looking for?
  • Master's Degree or equivalent Project/Program management certification preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in IT or project management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Experience in building and leading highly effective teams, mentoring and coaching junior project managers
  • Excellent program management skills, with a strong ability to prioritize, organize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to manage complex programs, budgets, and interdependencies
  • Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with project management tools such as SmartSheet, Trello, Jira, etc.
What will be your key responsibilities?
  • Be the Single Point of contact for the delivery team for the region/function to ensure project requirements are proactively addressed and all projects are delivered according to standards
  • Responsible for deploying large and complex DT projects and programs, securing benefits delivery, and adherence to strategies and priorities
  • Lead and engage a high-performing team of up to 15 people, coordinating internal and 3rd party resources, providing coaching and support
  • Oversee activities throughout initiation, development, implementation, and nurturing phases, managing quality, cost, and time
  • Identify, mitigate, and communicate project/program risks and issues
  • Own and lead the program/project governance processes with relevant Business and DT Leaders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional global and regional teams to define expected business outcomes and ensure successful hand-over to BAU
  • Manage 3rd parties to ensure delivery per SLAs and recommend improved ways of working
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant business areas and technologies to support the development of functional requirements
  • Utilize the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool for resource planning, milestones, risks, issues, and financials
  • Deliver quality solutions that are functionally tested, with supporting documentation meeting requirements
  • Engage senior stakeholders across functions, Business Partnership, DT directors, and business leaders to ensure successful deployment and benefits achievement
  • Continuously improve deployment processes by evaluating and implementing best practices, processes, and tools
