Job summary

Cammach is recruiting for an ROV Workshop Electrical Technician for a 12-month contract with an Aberdeen-based client. You will assist in electrical maintenance on ROV and equipment systems within the workshop.

The role requires proven workshop electrical experience, industry training, and time-served credentials, plus compliance with health, safety and environmental policies. UK right-to-work is essential; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with electrical activities in a workshop environment.
• Industry training in electrical disciplines and time-served experience.
• Pre- and post-employment medical assessments will be required.
• Applicants must reside in the UK with full, permanent UK right-to-work status; sponsorships are not available.

Cammach is currently recruiting for an ROV Workshop Electrical Technician on behalf of our Aberdeen-based client for a 12-month contract.

• 12 months contract (potential to become a staff role in the future).
• Agency Worker / PAYE
• Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
  

ROLE

Part of the ROV Asset department. You will assist in carrying out Electrical maintenance on ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, A-Frame etc.). In accordance with company procedures and direction of Workshop Manager and Lead Workshop Electrician.

Responsibilities

• Gain knowledge and experience on ROV and Equipment in order to assist in carrying out Electrical maintenance on ROV and equipment systems (ROV, TMS, Winch, HPU, etc).
• Assist in carrying out maintenance, repair and upgrade activities related to the workshop electrical systems
• Become familiar with and to maintain awareness of the company’s current requirements / protocols / policies and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations
• Ensure that all activities are carried out in a manner consistent with company policy on health, safety, quality and environmental matters in accordance with company specific procedures
  

Requirements

• Experience: proven experience with electrical activities in a similar workshop environment.
• Technical skills: Industry training in Electrical disciplines, and Time-served.
• Pre and post-employment medical assessments will be required for all workshop personnel.
