Job summary

Saipem in the UK is seeking a mechanically skilled ROV Tooling Technician to join the Aberdeen workshop. You will maintain, repair and refurbish ROV tooling equipment for offshore projects, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.

The role requires industry engineering training with mechanical/hydraulic background, proven workshop experience, and basic IT literacy to complete maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Industry training in engineering with mechanical or hydraulic background.
• Proven mechanical/hydraulic experience in a workshop environment.
• Basic IT skills and ability to complete maintenance records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ROV tooling equipment repair and preparation in Aberdeen workshop.
• Gain experience on ROV tooling equipment used for offshore operations.
• Perform strip-down, maintenance, refurbishment and re-assembly of ROV tooling equipment.
• Provide technical support to building of new ROV tooling equipment as required by projects.
• Contribute to paperwork related to ROV Tooling maintenance and build activities.
• Perform packing activities, spares checks and quality control checks prior to shipment.
• Keep workshop tools and equipment in good and operational order.
• Adhere to the Company's Quality and Safety Policy and Procedures in everyday activities.
• Assist the Lead ROV Tooling Technician during tooling support activities.
