Qualifications

We are seeking ROV Pilot Technicians at all levels for permanent roles, supporting ongoing international projects through 2024 and beyond. Responsibilities include:

• Adhering to safety practices and industry standards
• Effective communication with team and management
• Participating in risk assessments and toolbox talks
• Completing pre and post dive checks
• Launching and recovering ROVs as directed
• Fault-finding and troubleshooting
• Maintaining communication during operations
• Completing operational documentation
• Ensuring equipment functionality and safety
• Mentoring trainees and updating system inventories
• Piloting ROVs in various environmental conditions
• Preparing technical reports
• Learning new technical skills
• Supervising teams if required

Candidates should have experience with systems such as Triton XLX/XLS, Seaeye Panther/Cougar/Tiger, or Sub-Atlantic Comanche/Mohican. Necessary certifications include IMCA competence, BOSIET, offshore medical, and preferably GWO. Additional qualifications like HV certification, a second passport, and seaman’s certification are advantageous.
