About the Role

Our team in Stoke is seeking an experienced Administrator, to provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service. Do you thrive in a busy environment, juggling various administrative tasks and supporting different people? If so, then this could be the role for you.

As a leading charity supporting people with drug, alcohol, and mental health challenges, we operate over 80 services across England and Scotland, providing free and confidential support to more than 100,000 people annually. Find out more about us here.

This position is based at our Stoke Community Drugs and Alcohol service. You will be part of our administrative support team, providing reception, secretarial, data management, clinical administrative support, and ensuring safety and security within the service. The role involves greeting clients, minuting meetings, maintaining data quality, processing assessments, and supporting clinical administration.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a salary of £23,400 - £25,000 per year, including some evening and Saturday work on a rota basis.

We seek a compassionate, motivated individual with strong relationship-building skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities. You should work well in a team, be passionate about our mission, and maintain a positive, engaging approach with clients and stakeholders.

To succeed, you will need:

  • Experience providing administrative support in busy environments
  • Effective communication skills with diverse audiences
  • Confidence working collaboratively in a team
  • Good Maths and English skills (verbal and written)
  • Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize tasks
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent IT skills, including database management and digital media use
  • Understanding of work-based Health & Safety issues
  • Flexibility with working hours and location as needed

Experience in a charitable organization or knowledge of our client group is advantageous but not essential. We value passionate individuals with a positive approach.
