Job summary

Atlas NextWave are seeking a Derrickman to mobilise onboard a Platform ASAP for a 3-week 3/3 rota. You will work in the derrick to safely assist the Driller with centring, raising and lowering casing, drill pipe, and tubulars through the drill floor rotary table.

You will also support the mud module, carrying out maintenance and repairs as requested by the Driller and Mud Engineer, ensuring mud mixtures and chemicals meet the needs of drilling operations and supervising loading of liquid mud

Qualifications

• Experience in offshore or onshore drilling environments preferred.
• Ability to follow Driller and Mud Engineer instructions precisely.
• Strong focus on safety and process compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist drilling crew with centring, lifting, and lowering casing and drill pipe through the drill floor rotary table.
• Support mud module uptime, perform preventative maintenance and repairs as requested by Driller and Mud Engineer.
• Ensure chemicals and mud mixtures meet operation requirements.
• Supervise loading of liquid mud products from water vessels.
• Maintain equipment in chemical, mud and pump rooms; assist Driller and Roughnecks as needed.

Atlas NextWave are looking for a Derrickman to mobilise onboard a Platform ASAP for 3 weeks on a 3/3 Rota

• Working in the derrick to safely and efficiently assist the Driller in centring, raising and lowering all casing, drill pipe and tubular through the drill floor rotary table.
• Ensuring the smooth operation and support function of the mud module including preventative. maintenance and general repairs of mud equipment as requested by the Driller and Mud Engineer.
• Ensuring chemicals and mud mixture meets the needs of drilling operations.
• Supervise loading of liquid mud products of water vessels.
• Performing general maintenance and upkeep of the equipment in the chemical, mud and pump rooms and also assisting the Driller and Roughnecks on board the drill floor as and when required.
