St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our Band 6 rotational SLT team. The role covers Acute Medicine/Senior Health, Neurocardiac/Major Trauma, Community Neuro, Outpatients, Stroke, Neurorehabilitation and Acute Paediatrics, with supervision and professional development emphasized.

You will manage adult and paediatric caseloads, provide specialist SLT services, work with families, and have opportunities to participate

Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with communication and swallowing impairments.
• Dysphagia training is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are essential and collaboration with families is important.
• Autonomous practice with specialist SLT knowledge across adult/paediatric patients.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage adult or paediatric caseload per rotation.
• Provide specialist SLT services and care plans for patients/clients.
• Lead collaborative working with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in weekly instrumental assessment clinics and supervise students/SLT assistants.
