Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is offering two rotational Band 5 Speech and Language Therapist posts focused on adults with acquired communication and swallowing impairments. Posts are based at the NNUH with involvement across Acute, Neurosciences, and Head & Neck/Voice teams.

Full dysphagia training provided. You will join a supportive team committed to evidence-based practice, with links to the University of East Anglia for professional development.

Qualifications

• Qualified Speech and Language Therapist for adults with acquired communication and swallowing disorders.
• Willing to rotate across Acute, Neurosciences, Head & Neck/Voice teams.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and high quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide SLT assessment, differential diagnosis, and treatment for adults with acquired communication and swallowing impairments.
• Provide education, training and advice to patients, carers, other health care professionals and voluntary organisations.
• Participate in audits of SLT service provision within the designated team.
