Job summary

Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Specialist Clinical Pharmacist (Band 7) to join a forward‑looking pharmacy team. The role is rotational across acute medicine, surgery and specialties, with 0.8 FTE (four days per week) and a weekend on-call/Bank Holiday rota.

You will deliver patient‑centred pharmaceutical care, supervise junior staff, and contribute to medicines optimisation, safety initiatives and audits across wards in partnership with senior pharmacists.

Qualifications

• Experience and passion for clinical pharmacy.
• Ability to contribute to medicines optimisation and safety initiatives.
• Rotational post across multiple clinical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Support the effective and safe use of medicines within the CSUs and across the Trust.
• Be part of the Pharmacy team to enable Trust objectives and high-quality care.
• Contribute to governance, audits and medicines management standards across wards.
