Job Summary

Are you a band 5 Physiotherapist seeking career progression or an established Band 6 interested in Inpatient rehabilitation? Join our friendly, forward-thinking teams on Capetown & Canterbury wards and Magnolia unit, supported by experienced senior clinicians within an MDT setting.

Capetown ward is a 38-bed inpatient rehabilitation ward for adults and older people, working closely with an MDT to plan and deliver care, rehabilitation, recovery interventions, and supported discharge planning. Canterbury ward has 17 recovery beds focusing on complex transitions into the community, and Magnolia unit offers 34 beds for complex multipathology rehab, including stroke & neuro-rehabilitation.

The service is supported by an Integrated Therapy Lead. We are transforming and integrating rehabilitation services across the trust, and your input will help shape these services and impact patients' lives.

Main Duties

1. Deliver high-standard physiotherapy assessments and interventions to adult inpatient rehabilitation patients.
2. Assist in the safe and timely discharge of patients and make appropriate onward referrals.
