We have an opportunity to recruit two Physiotherapists to our popular SCFT East Physiotherapy Rotation Scheme on an 18-month fixed term basis to cover staff secondment.

Our East Physiotherapy Rotation centres around our services across Brighton & Hove, with two rotations extending into Lewes, Wealden and Mid-Sussex.

Main duties of the job


This supportive Band 5 Physiotherapy rotation aims to help you through the transition from student to skilled therapistand on this occasion weare looking for someone who will be fully qualified and HCPC registered before October 1st 2025 (proposed start date). We also welcome applications from those with somepreviousBand 5 experience.


You will have a supervised caseload and a programme of continuingprofessional development toassistin your progression. Our rotations enable newly qualified Physiotherapists to develop skills and competencies beyond graduate level in a variety of clinical specialties across inpatient, outpatient and community roles.


Rotations on our East Physiotherapy Rotation Scheme:
Community Therapy Teams
Community Neurological Rehabilitation
Community Respiratory Teams (inc. Pulmonary Rehabilitation)
Intermediate Care Unit (Inpatient Rehabilitation)
Falls and Fracture Prevention Service
MSK Outpatients
Home First (Supported Discharge)
In-Reach Beds (Community Therapy in reach into care home settings)
Sussex Rehabilitation Centre (Amputee Rehabilitation)

Our rotations occur on a 6 monthly basis, and you will be given the opportunity to provide your preferences for rotations, prior to rotation allocation, once you have joined our rotation scheme.
