Job summary

East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust (ESNEFT) in Ipswich is seeking a Band 5 Rotational Physiotherapist for a fixed-term contract at Ipswich Hospital. The role covers rotations across medical wards, older people services, surgical wards, critical care, orthopaedics, stroke, paediatrics, MSK outpatients, community hospitals and rehab services.

The successful candidate will be supported by senior staff and Physiotherapy Leads, with access to In-Service training and a Preceptorship

Qualifications

• Excellent clinical skills, good time management and effective communication with patients and carers.

Responsibilities

• To assess, treat and discharge patients.
• To delegate to and supervise the work of Physiotherapy/therapy Assistants and Technical Instructors.
• To provide advice, teaching and instruction to relatives, carers and other professionals, to promote understanding of the aims of physiotherapy and to ensure a co-ordinated approach to patient care.
