Job description

To work as a qualified physiotherapist across five-monthly rotations in different areas of physiotherapy practice, guided and supported by specialist senior staff within each rotation.

  • To be an autonomous practitioner assessing patients, defining treatment needs in relation to physiotherapy, and carrying out this treatment for own caseload, maintaining clinical records.
  • To be responsible for own continuous professional development as each rotation builds on previous experience, enabling further development of clinical and managerial competencies.
  • To be involved in audit.
  • To take part in the weekend physiotherapy service and the emergency overnight on-call physiotherapy service.

Physiotherapist

NPH/CMH/Ealing

This post is rotational across Northwick Park Hospital, Ealing Hospital, and Central Middlesex Hospital. The successful candidate will be required:

  • To work as a qualified physiotherapist across five-monthly rotations in different areas of physiotherapy practice, guided and supported by specialist senior staff within each rotation.
  • To be an autonomous practitioner assessing patients, defining treatment needs in relation to physiotherapy, and carrying out this treatment for own caseload, maintaining clinical records.
  • To be responsible for own continuous professional development as each rotation builds on previous experience, enabling further development of clinical and managerial competencies.
  • To be involved in audit.
  • To take part in the weekend physiotherapy service and the emergency overnight on-call physiotherapy service.

Rotations Include

  • At Central Middlesex Hospital, NW10: Musculoskeletal outpatients, neurology, respiratory, orthopaedics (Elective orthopaedic centre), elderly care.
  • At Northwick Park & St Mark’s Hospitals, HA1: Musculoskeletal outpatients, neurology, respiratory, orthopaedics, elderly care, vascular, rheumatology, Healthcare and Rehab Team (HART), Regional Rehabilitation Unit.
  • At Ealing Hospital, UB1: Orthopaedics, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Respiratory, Neurology/elderly care.
