Job summary

This is an opportunity to join our established Adult Physiotherapy team. This post is open to new graduates and established band 5 physiotherapists. Successful candidates will join our diverse team, who work across a range of clinical specialties within an acute care setting, rehabilitation and MSK outpatients.

You will work alongside colleagues to assess and treat patients across a range of clinical conditions with

varying degrees of complexity.

You will be responsible for delivering evidence based interventions to facilitate recovery, promote well-

being and optimise independent function.

You will be an active member of the physiotherapy team and the wider multi-disciplinary team. We are

seeking people who can adapt to changing environments and work well in a team.

Main duties of the job

You will work alongside senior physiotherapists and the wider MDT and your development will besupported by the inpatient leads. The post holder will be responsible for a designated clinical caseload, support is available in the form of supervisions and joint working.

The role requires a dynamic physiotherapist who is able to work within the physiotherapy team andmultidisciplinary team to provide exemplary care to the patient. The successful applicant will utilisetheir outstanding organisation and communication skills in order to support with the assessment,treatment and rehabilitation of patients whilst achieving outstanding physiotherapy outcomes.

This post will include working with a diverse range of conditions in highly complex patients withphysical, psychological and social care needs. You will assess, diagnose, implement and evaluateindividual programmes of care for patients with a wide range of clinical needs. Band 5 rotationalphysiotherapists have the exciting opportunity to rotate 6 monthly between the geographrical areacovered by CDDFT. The post holder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to provide timelytreatment.
