Overview

Exciting opportunities for Rotational Band 6 Physiotherapists at our Wythenshawe site. We are looking for enthusiastic, forward thinking and dynamic physiotherapists to join our Band 6 rotations, with the ability to work flexibly and well as part of a team.

Responsibilities
  • Undertake advanced physiotherapeutic assessments of patients with diverse and often complex presentations.
  • Demonstrate excellent clinical reasoning to develop and deliver individual treatment programs and plan safe and timely discharges.
  • Manage your own caseload to meet service needs and patient priorities.
  • Support, appraise and educate more junior staff, rehabilitation assistants and students.
  • Support team leaders and deputise as required.
  • Work as part of the therapy team and wider MDT, maintaining high standards of communication with patients, relatives and colleagues.
  • Participate in weekend and on-call rotas as departmental policy.
  • Maintain professional standards of practice and codes of conduct for yourself and any staff under your supervision.
Role Details

Rotations are currently 8 months and provide a wide variety of clinical opportunities including Cardiothoracic Surgery, Burns and Plastics, General Surgery, Musculoskeletal Outpatients, Stroke Rehabilitation, Orthopaedics, Thoracic Medicine, Cystic Fibrosis, Long Term Ventilation, Complex Health & Medicine, Complex Airways, and Community Respiratory Team.
