Job summary

George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust is recruiting a Pharmacy Technician for a rotational post working 37.5 hours per week on rotating late night, weekend and bank holiday shifts. The role is permanent with a salary of £28,392 to £31,157 per annum.

You must be GPhC registered or eligible to register through a GPhC-accredited qualification. You will support pharmaceutical technical duties across the pharmacy department, under the direction of Lead Pharmacy Technicians and the Chief Pharmacist.

Qualifications

• GPhC-registered pharmacy technician or eligible to register.
• Carry out pharmaceutical technical duties under supervision of Lead Pharmacy Technicians and Chief Pharmacist.
• Commitment to safe, high-quality pharmaceutical service for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pharmaceutical technical duties in specified areas under the direction of Lead Pharmacy Technicians and the Chief Pharmacist.
• Provide a safe, efficient and comprehensive high-quality pharmaceutical service to patients and staff.
• Undertake training and accreditation in technical skills as identified with Lead Pharmacy Technicians and the Chief Pharmacist.
