Job summary

The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust invites applications for an Occupational Therapist to join a supportive MDT. You will work as an autonomous practitioner delivering high-quality OT assessments and interventions for patients with complex needs, across a range of rotations including Care of the Elderly, Critical Care, Orthopaedics and more.

This 9‑month fixed-term post offers supervision, IST, CPD funding and a focus on staff wellbeing as part of a developed, inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced OT assessments and treatments for acute, complex or chronic cases to maximise function.
• Coordinate, deliver and evaluate OT services for inpatients across wards with the MDT.
• Deputise for the team lead OT and support junior staff and assistants.
• Collaborate with community teams to enable safe, timely discharges.
