Job summary

The Queen Elizabeth Hospital King's Lynn NHS Foundation Trust's Occupational Therapy service is seeking to expand its Rehabilitation team, offering a diverse range of rotations across frailty, acute medicine, surgery, orthopaedics and acute stroke, with support from senior therapists.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, gain exposure to enable patients to achieve goals, participate in preceptorship and regular supervision, and take part in a digital transformation project including

Qualifications

• Full functional assessment and analysis of patients’ physical presentation
• Assessments for activities of daily living
• Advice on energy conservation/adaptation
• Educating patients and carers in safe use of equipment
• Adapting and evaluating rehabilitation treatment programmes
• Assessment of hoists and other patient handling equipment
• Facilitating normal movement of upper limb
• Administering standardised assessments
