Hampshire and Isle of Wight NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an Occupational Therapist in an entry-level learning post with a varied rotation through Acute Stroke Rehabilitation, Community Stroke Rehabilitation, Acut e In-Patient, Community Rehabilitation, Paediatric OT and Mental Health. Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• Current HCPC registration (or application) preferred.
• UK driving licence and access to a car with business insurance.
• Broad knowledge of current best practice in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Undertake Occupational Therapy assessments for a designated caseload.
• Plan, implement and review interventions to promote independence.
• Collaborate with patients to set OT goals within the care plan.
• Provide graded activities to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Involve patients and carers in learning techniques for daily activities and safety.
