We are the major tertiary Fetal Medicine Unit for the South West providing highly specialist care for women and their babies. As a service, we are passionate about supporting midwives ongoing professional development. We have an outstanding practice development team who will ensure a smooth transition to our unit.

• Be able to demonstrate leadership and management skills
• Be flexible with a caring attitude, rotating throughout the maternity departments as required and to be a part of the on-call service we provide.
• Have excellent and extended clinical skills
• Be able to develop their clinical skills and participate in continuing their professional development.
• Have experience in solving problems and using initiative.
• Have the ability to take the lead when caring for women and their babies, identifying any deterioration from normal and escalating appropriately.
