An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Midwife to join NHS Borders maternity service. We are a small team providing midwifery/consultant-led care, with approximately 900 deliveries per year. Our aim is to provide family-centred maternity care to women and families within the Borders, focusing on the principles of Best Start.

Within this role, you will work across Labour Ward, Ward 16 (antenatal/postnatal), and Community settings, providing family-centred care and supporting the operation of the service with a clear focus on the principles of Best Start.

The Borders is a beautiful place to work, live, and play; it offers a range of outdoor activities within its stunning countryside and has excellent transport links across Scotland and the border. The maternity team benefits from the advantages of working in a small, close-knit team and enjoys various organized social activities.

Note: The salary quoted is for full-time hours (37 hours per week). For part-time appointments, the salary will be prorated.
