A healthcare organization in Bournemouth is seeking a Rotational Junior Clinical Fellow in Medicine. This role includes rotations through various specialties, providing a breadth of experience. The post holder will engage in educational activities and gain clinical experience within supportive teams and facilities. Although not recognised as training posts, excellent teaching and study leave access are provided.

Job description
Overview

Rotational Junior Clinical Fellow in Medicine. Base: Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital (UHD).

These are rotational posts that include three specialty placements per rotational year, each four months in duration, to provide breadth of experience. Rotations can include Cardiology, Acute Medicine, Diabetes and Endocrine, Gastroenterology, Respiratory, Emergency Medicine, Older Persons Medicine and Stroke Medicine.

These posts are not recognised training posts; however, there are excellent teaching and postgraduate facilities. Post holders will be encouraged to attend a wide range of education meetings at lunchtimes throughout the week, and clinical experience will be gained from the Department’s own educational programme. Educational supervisors will be provided along with access to study leave and funding.
