Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is inviting applications for a 12 month fixed term band 6 diagnostic rotational radiographer post based at the Sutton site. The successful candidate will rotate through X-ray, CT and mammography and work as part of the Diagnostic Imaging team.

Applicants should have at least 2 years post graduate experience and be prepared to participate in the on-call service. The role requires flexibility, good communication, and a commitment to high-quality imaging

Qualifications

• Preferably 2 years post graduate experience.
• Participation on the residential X-ray/CT on-call service is expected.
• Post graduate radiology academic qualifications are desirable.
• Innovative, highly motivated radiographer with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate between X-ray, CT and mammography as required.
• Work within an multi-disciplinary team to provide imaging services.
• Liaise with clinicians and ward staff to ensure timely imaging.
• Contribute to on-call service and flexible departmental coverage.
