Job description
Overview

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and skilled radiographer to join our team in Neuroradiology at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. It is a great opportunity to work in MRI within a specialised hospital. We expect the successful candidate to have a patient‑centred approach with the ability to communicate effectively. You will be working in a multidisciplinary team with undergraduates, trainee radiologists, surgeons and junior radiographers, so good teaching skills are essential. The department offers interventional, 3T and 1.5T MRI, CT, angiography and plain film. An equipment replacement program has recently been completed with a dual energy CT, 3 MRI scanners and 2 angio rooms; a new iMRI suite is currently being installed. The department has a comprehensive MRI training program and supports CPD for all staff. Participation in an extended working day, weekend and out‑of‑hours service is essential. The Neuroradiology Department serves Neurology, Neurosurgery and Stroke.
