The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic Band 6 Physiotherapist to join our rotational scheme to cover maternity leave. The post holder will undertake clinical responsibility for a designated caseload within our acute hospital setting and work to priorities and time management.

The rotations are eight months each, spanning Orthopaedics, Critical Care/Respiratory, Paediatrics, Medical, Acute Stroke Unit and Neurological Outliers, as well as the Admission Avoidance Team.

Qualifications

• Clinical assessment of patients to determine physiotherapy needs.
• Ability to manage a caseload across multiple rotations.
• Strong time management to prioritise treatments and documentation.

Responsabilités

• Accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of hospital-based patients and organise this effectively with regard to clinical priorities and time.
• Conduct highly specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop treatment and management programmes for patients with acute and chronic conditions.
• Be supervised and participate in in-service training with objectives to achieve in each rotation and annual development review.
• Rotations are eight months and include Orthopaedics, Critical Care/Respiratory, Paediatrics, Medical, Acute Stroke Unit and Neurological Outliers, plus the Admission Avoidance Team (AAT).

To accept clinical responsibility for a designated caseload of hospital-based patients and to organize this effectively and efficiently with regard to clinical priorities and use of time. highly specialist physiotherapy assessments and develop treatment & management programmes for patients with acute and chronic conditions, maintaining rThe Acute Therapies team at the NMUH deliver high quality patient centred care and therapists work in an integrated manner to achieve the best possible outcome for their patients.

The post holder will be supervised and participate in any In-service training and will have objectives to achieve in each rotation as well as an anuual development review.

Rotations are 8 months and include: Orthopaedics, Critical Care/Respiratory, Paediatrics, Medical, Acute Stroke Unit & Neurological Outliers as well as the Admission Avoidance Team (AAT).
