Job summary

Chestergates Veterinary Specialists is offering a 12-month rotating internship in Chester. You will work under specialists in anaesthesia, internal medicine, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery, cardiology, neurology and more, gaining broad hands‑on experience.

The programme aims to prepare you for leadership roles and future postgraduate training, with opportunities to participate in CPD, seminars and journal clubs while based at a friendly, supportive referral centre.

Qualifications

• Must be a Member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities.
• Professional conduct and good communication under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Work under supervision of specialists across multiple disciplines.
• Participate in journal clubs, seminars and clinical reviews.
• Develop emergency and critical care skills in out-of-hours practice.
