We are recruiting expatriates in the Middle East with a leading, profitable operator.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Providing technical expertise on a wide range of rotating machinery, including compressors (e.g., centrifugal), positive displacement units (e.g., reciprocating), gearboxes, and steam turbines.
  2. Contributing to equipment design and selection for new installations and assessing modifications for existing assets.
  3. Maintaining and refining standards related to compressors, turbines, and gearboxes to enhance reliability and performance.
  4. Proposing and evaluating innovative technologies to improve operational efficiency and equipment availability.
  5. Leading investigations into machinery performance issues and recommending solutions.
  6. Mentoring peers and less experienced engineers to develop technical capabilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • At least 15 years of experience with rotating equipment, especially compressors and steam turbines, in refineries, petrochemical, or gas processing facilities.
  • Proven troubleshooting skills and experience in performance analysis, repair, and system selection.
  • Familiarity with international standards, especially API standards related to rotating equipment.
  • Ability to produce recent technical reports or case studies demonstrating engineering judgment.
