Job summary

Centrica Storage in Hull is seeking a Rotating Equipment TA within the Engineering team to provide specialist support for operation, maintenance and project work on gas turbine, compressor and pump packages. The role involves cross-disciplinary collaboration to maintain equipment integrity and safety.

You will participate in HAZOP studies, risk assessments and project scopes, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards across onshore assets.

Qualifications

• HND/HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Oil and gas experience on COMAH sites preferred.
• Logical approach to problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Hazard and Operability (HAZOP) studies.
• Participate in MoC risk assessments and assess implications of changes.
• Define and manage small rotating equipment project work scopes with third parties.
• Investigate operational issues and safety events, proposing solutions and ensuring completion.
• Produce and update maintenance procedures for rotating/package equipment.
• Review IVB observations and respond accordingly.
• Review project workscopes related to rotating and packaged equipment.
• Support internal audits and technical assurance to standards and procedures.
