Centrica plc in the UK is seeking a Rotating Equipment Technical Advisor within the Engineering team to provide technical support across rotating equipment, controls, instrumentation, process, fire and gas, maintenance, and piping for onshore and offshore assets.
The role focuses on operation and maintenance support for gas turbine-driven packages, compressors, pumps, and offshore diesel generation, with travel between Hull and Easington Terminal, and possible offshore trips.

To work with the Rotating Equipment TA within the Engineering team, providing technical support to operations, projects and maintenance. This technical support role requires a broad range of knowledge across a number of discipline boundaries including, rotating equipment, controls and instrumentation, process, fire and gas, maintenance, and piping as these relate to the packaged equipment. The primary focus of this work is operation and maintenance support for the installed onshore gas turbine driven, gas compression train, reciprocating compressors and pumps and offshore diesel power generation, pumps and similar equipment. This will include trouble shooting equipment breakdowns, review and remediation of historical supply or process change issues To also provide support, when required and within experience, to the Mechanical Engineering Team. Project support to internal / 3rd party interface, to assure future and ongoing projects meet Centrica Storage standards and are integrated into existing assets, safely and efficiently. To assure all rotating equipment is installed and maintained in accordance with latest relevant technical and health and safety standards and assurance requirements.
Location – Woodland House, Hull – flexible working with a mix of office and home working Travel – Between Hessle office and Easington Terminal. May require trips offshore
