Rotating Equipment Engineer – PGC

Location: Aberdeen
Function: Asset Maintenance Team
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking a Rotating Equipment Engineer with expertise in Pressure Gain Combustion (PGC) systems to join our Asset Maintenance Team in Aberdeen. This role supports the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of rotating equipment, with a key focus on PGC package performance, maintenance, and system integrity.

Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor and support day-to-day PGC operations

  • Collaborate with site operations and engineering teams

  • Ensure compliance with maintenance standards and procedures

  • Drive reliability improvements and reduce system degradation

  • Maintain SAP records and manage spares inventory

  • Support vendor management, including RFQs and performance reviews

  • Participate in root cause analysis and shutdown planning

  • Review technical documentation and maintenance strategies

About You


  • Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or related field

  • Strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment and PGC systems

  • Oil and gas experience in a maintenance or operational engineering role

  • Skilled in SAP and maintenance planning systems

  • Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills
