Job summary

KHR - Recruitment Specialists advertises a Warehouse Loader position on the outskirts of Maidstone. The role involves movement, storage and despatch of finished products, ensuring correct loading sequences and accurate stock documentation.

The candidate should have warehouse experience, good IT skills, and a strong focus on Health & Safety. A Counterbalance FLT qualification is desirable but not required, with a rotating 12-hour shift pattern across days and nights.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environments.
• Good IT skills with experience using warehouse or stock control systems.
• Experience with an IMS (Integrated Management System) desired but not essential.
• Counterbalance FLT qualification desirable but not essential.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness and careful handling of stock.

Responsibilities

• Use company systems to track products entering and leaving the warehouse.
• Store, locate, repack and record finished products.
• Manage warehouse space, stock rotation and product movement.
• Perform quality checks and address production/logistics issues.
• Load trailers in correct sequence to required standards.
• Unload incoming products and document locations.
• Monitor plant, equipment and processes; report faults.
• Inspect handling equipment and report defects.
• Take corrective actions to minimise disruption to operations.
• Complete accurate stock checks and update systems.
• Follow all health, safety, environmental and operating procedures.
