Job description

This role is advertised by Smart Solutions on behalf of our client, who specializes in the waste sector, and is looking for HGV Class 2 RoRo Drivers in the South Kirkby area.

The primary role of the HGV Class 2 Driver is to operate a HGV Class 2 vehicle to collect trade waste from commercial customers. This is a single-man operation, so manual work is required as part of the role.

Shifts

Monday to Friday, 7am to 5.15pm.

Pay

£15.55 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Waste Transportation: Safely operate HGV vehicles to collect, transport, and deliver waste materials to designated locations.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Route Planning: Plan efficient routes for timely waste collection and delivery.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of collections, deliveries, and incidents.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent service and address client inquiries professionally.

Driving experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications:

• Valid HGV Class 2 driver’s license.
• CPC Qualification (Certificate of Professional Competence).
• Strong driving and navigation skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.
