Job summary

Bekaert NV is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager Advanced Services to transform rope services into a value-driven offering across offshore, mining, ports and renewables.

You will lead development of a scalable service strategy, grow standalone service revenue, and convert pilots into long-term contracts while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer value and risk reduction.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of professional experience.
• 3–5 years in business development or service sales.
• Experience with lifting equipment, cranes, rigging or hoisting.
• Experience with steel wire ropes, chains, slings.
• Experience in inspection, NDT, asset integrity or certification services.
• Experience offshore/oil & gas/ports/mining/renewables.
• Able to navigate complex multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong pipeline and account management discipline.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills; confident and assertive.

Responsibilities

• Lead transformation to a value-driven service model.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive service strategy across offshore, mining, ports, renewables.
• Grow stand-alone service revenue and long-term contracts.
• Identify new service opportunities within key accounts.
• Act as trusted advisor on rope safety and asset integrity.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, HSE and operations.
• Translate technical challenges into value-based service proposals.
• Position services around risk reduction, uptime, total cost of ownership.
