Job description

I will support the In Room Dining Manager and assume responsibility for the efficient operation of the department, including:

  1. Supervising the In Room Dining team.
  2. Reviewing bookings and planning for smooth department operations during shifts.
  3. Engaging in operations throughout service and providing support to the team where required.
  4. Implementing and maintaining a guest recognition program, paying attention to food preferences, allergies, and dietary requests.
  5. Assisting in scheduling, training, and providing feedback to the In Room Dining & Minibar team.
  6. Handling guest feedback, inquiries, and comments, logging them, and initiating appropriate actions and follow-ups.
  7. Assisting in controlling the outlet’s operational budget to ensure costs are strictly managed and profitability is maximized.
  8. Having good knowledge of all outlet menus (food and wine) and F&B daily activities.
  9. Strictly adhering to LQA standards and guest comments.

To perform the role of In Room Dining Supervisor, the candidate must possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar operational role. A hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.
  2. Familiarity with Food and Beverage terminology, operations, wine service, costs, menu development, food and hygiene standards, and inventory control.
  3. Fluency in English; additional languages are preferred.
